Our Top Things to Do in Victoria
You'll want to see EVERYTHING, but in the event it just isn't possible, might we suggest:
Butchart Gardens Regardless of the time of year, there's always something of beauty at the Butchart Gardens, even in the winter with Christmas lights from December 1 through January 6th. In April, more than 250,000 bulbs show their true colors, the result of a meticulous fall planting.
Friday nights in July and August however, bring a special surprise with a fireworks show. There's so much to tell you about Butchart Gardens that we've written an entire article (just in case you need more encouragement).
Miniature World This is a special treat for the kids (regardless of your age). This is such an amazing feat of engineering, that you almost HAVE to be an adult to appreciate the detail and the amount of work that went into making this display. Everything from hundreds of dolls and miniatures and scenes from old fairy tales, to a moon, some planets, and a tiny spaceship flying up to rendezvous with an orbiting mother ship. It's just wild.
