2010 Winter Olympics Games in Vancouver

Can you imagine coming to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics and afterward visiting the surrounding areas and attractions?

2010 Winter Olympics logoAs you may know, Victoria is the Capital of British Columbia, Canada. It is not as big as Vancouver, which is the largest city in B.C., but it is well worth the trip over the water to Vancouver island to visit it as it has it own charm. Being only about a quarter as big as Vancouver, it has a medium-sized town feel.

There are many ways to get here from Vancouver... the most popular is the ferry which departs from Tsawwassen every two hours during the winter (and every hour in the summer months).

Some of the other ways to get here are flying over from Vancouver international Airport to Victoria International Airport or flying over on the seaplanes which depart from Vancouver Harbour with arrival in Victoria Harbour. You can find more information on our page about flying to Victoria.

Below is the main link to the 2010 Winter Olympic games, and a few others that may be of help to you when visiting Victoria.

If you came to the Olympic games I hope you had time to visit Victoria.
